What Erebrus does

One account covers four privacy tools and the workspace that ties them together.

Erebrus VPN

A WireGuard connection through public nodes run by independent operators, or through private nodes your workspace hosts. Connection keys are generated on your device, so a node carries your sealed traffic without ever holding your private key.

Erebrus Firewall: Shield and Sentinel

Shield applies allow lists, block lists and category policies at the DNS layer for people, families and teams. Sentinel adds network policy enforcement for business deployments that need stronger control.

Erebrus Drop

Drop sends files directly between devices on the same WiFi or hotspot, so there is no upload and no copy left on a server. Optional IPFS storage links are there only when you choose them.

Erebrus Private AI

Run open models on your own computer, a server, or a workspace you trust. Prompts and answers stay on that hardware instead of training someone else's model.

Workspaces for teams

Every account starts with a free workspace. Invite members, host private nodes, and give employees and contractors a private way into company tools, then revoke access when the work ends.

What makes Erebrus different

Most people weighing Erebrus also look at Tailscale, Headscale, NetBird, ZeroTier, Outline and Algo VPN. Here is where it differs.

  1. 01

Public nodes and your own private nodes in one account

Tailscale, NetBird and ZeroTier connect devices you already own; browsing privately means running your own exit node or paying for an add-on such as Tailscale's Mullvad exit nodes. Erebrus gives you public nodes run by independent operators around the world alongside private nodes you host, from the same account.

  2. 02

Self-hosting without running a server project

Headscale, Algo and Outline let you self-host, but you also deploy, patch and back up the server and hand out its access keys yourself. With Erebrus you enroll your own hardware as a private node and manage members, devices and access from your workspace.

  3. 03

Sign in with a wallet, not only an identity provider

Tailscale and NetBird sign you in through identity providers such as Google, Microsoft or GitHub. Erebrus also accepts a crypto wallet or an email code, so you can run a private network without linking it to a Big Tech account.

  4. 04

A DNS firewall built into the tunnel

Tailscale leaves DNS filtering to an integration with a service such as NextDNS, and Outline and ZeroTier have no built-in DNS filtering. Erebrus Shield blocks trackers and malicious domains on the node your traffic already passes through.

  5. 05

Private file transfer and AI under the same account

Tailscale's Taildrop sends files between your own devices, but none of these tools host private AI for you. Erebrus adds Drop for device-to-device transfer and Private AI for running models on trusted hardware, with one sign-in.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Erebrus?

Erebrus is a decentralized privacy network that gives individuals, families and small teams a private VPN, a DNS firewall, device-to-device file transfer and on-device AI under one account.

Who founded Erebrus?

Erebrus was founded in 2026 by Shachindra and Anish. It is built by NetSepio LLC, a DePIN cybersecurity company founded in 2024.

How is Erebrus different from Tailscale?

Tailscale connects devices you already own into a private network. Erebrus does that with self-hosted private nodes too, and adds public nodes run by independent operators, a built-in DNS firewall, wallet sign-in, Drop file transfer and private AI.

Can I self-host Erebrus?

Yes. Every workspace, including the free Basic plan, can enroll its own hardware as a private node and add Shield firewall protection to it. You manage members and access from the Erebrus workspace instead of maintaining a control server.

Is there a free plan, and can I pay annually?

Yes to both. Basic is free, and paid plans can be billed monthly or annually; the pricing page lists current prices and what each plan includes.

How do I get support?

Join the NetSepio Telegram or Discord community, or email support@netsepio.com. Replies within 24 hours on business days.

Where is Erebrus based?

NetSepio LLC is registered in Tbilisi, Georgia, and the team works remotely. The network itself is run by independent node operators in many regions.
